Prayer Journey Day 6

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. . .Matthew 6:9-10

God, you are holy. Your word is upright, and all your work is done in faithfulness. You love righteousness and justice (Psalm 33:4-5)

But this world is broken. Injustice and cruelty are rampant. Your saints are imprisoned and persecuted. Some are ill, some brokenhearted, some weighed down with worries that seem beyond relief.

And yet, your counsel, O God, stands forever, the plans of your heart stand through the generations. None can stay your hand. You are accountable to no one. (Psalm 34; Daniel 4)

You are working out the “wrongs” for a greater purpose. Father, open our eyes to see where you are working, so we can have hope.

for those believers in prison, encourage them with your Word today. Give them opportunity to share the gospel with a fellow prisoner. Open the hearts of their captors so that they might believe the gospel and be saved.

For those who are pastors and missionaries, keep them desperate for you. Keep their hearts tender toward and their spirits sensitive to pride and arrogance. Keep them humble. Show them your ways, teach them your paths. Guide the. In your truth and teach them (psalm 25)

father, make us good stewards of what you have entrusted to us, whether health or time or money or possessions.

thank you for your steadfast love and faithfulness

I want to know what you think!
