Preparing our Hearts for the Holidays — Day 9

IMMUTABLE

All that God is, He has always been. All that He has been and is, He will ever be. He is ever perfect and unchanging.

Psalm 102:25-28 ESV – 25 Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. 26 They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, 27 but you are the same, and your years have no end. 28 The children of your servants shall dwell secure; their offspring shall be established before you.

Hebrews 13:8 ESV – 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Lord,

What a comfort, what a gift it is that You do not change. Your promises are always true. Your Word is always true. Your love is always steadfast. Your justice is always right. You are perfect. There is not a need for You to change.

Thank You for Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness. You are my eternal, immutable God.
