TRANSCENDENT
God is not simply the highest in an order of beings (this would be to grant Him eminence). He is transcendent—existing beyond and above the created universe.
Psalm 86:8-10 ESV – 8 There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. 9 All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. 10 For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God.
Father,
There is none like You. You are beyond comprehension, beyond our understanding. You are righteous and holy, and there is nothing too hard for You.
How is it that you stoop to save a human like me? But God, I am so grateful that You sent Your only Son to be my Savior. Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for being God. Thank You for loving me.
