Yes, it is that time of year . . .this week is Thanksgiving, and then there are just 27 days until Christmas.
It’s good to plan to focus your attention at this season. What a blessing that there are so many options! I would like to show you a few for your consideration:
https://radical.net/book/advent-2019/ This year’s Advent devotional from David Platt. There is a free download for a .pdf, and optional sermon series or audio devotional to accompany. https://store.reviveourhearts.com/products/consider-jesus-advent-devotional Revive Our Hearts and Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth have published an Advent devotional entitled “Consider Jesus.” Rather than concentrating only on the gospels and the story of the announcement and birth of Jesus, this concentrates on the effects of Jesus’ coming to earth. Currently if you make a donation to the ministry you can choose to receive either the book, or the digital download (.pdf) You can also purchase the book for $15 or the download for $7.50

There is a DVD with weekly lessons, and a study guide that includes puzzles and games. The link offers several options for utilizing this study.
The gospel of Luke sets forth an orderly account of the life of Jesus so that Theophilus (and we, by extension) would “know the certainty” of the things he has learned (1:4). If you read a chapter a day, beginning December 1, you will finish on Christmas Eve.
I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the options! I have read the book of Luke before, during Advent, and appreciated so much more the details of c Christ’s life as I read slowly.
