Plea for Grace

As 2019 comes to a close –What’s next for 2020?

Posted on: December 14, 2019

It’s December; not only December, but it’s 11 days until Christmas, and 18 days until we stop writing 2019 . . .

If there is anything that I have learned in 2019, it’s that I can make plans and have goals, but . . .

Proverbs 19:21 ESV – 21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.

I am learning to hold my plans and goals loosely; not to procrastinate; to take joyful advantage of every “good” day that I can; to not resent the “tough” days, but to trust that God’s purpose stands.

Beginning January 1, and continuing until Easter (April 12), by God’s grace I will be reading and meditating on the life of Jesus, using the book, One Perfect Life by John Macarthur

The pace will be such that there will be time for memorizing, praying, and simply being awestruck by knowing Jesus as He has revealed Himself in scripture. I would love for you to join me! The link above will give you any information you need to purchase the book, new or used, print or kindle.

Have a very blessed Christmas,

bev
