Psalm 5:8, 11-12 ESV – 8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me. … 11 But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. 12 For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield.
Lord, I want You to lead me. I know myself; I know that left to my own devices I would wander like a lost sheep . . .I pray for those who are “wandering” now — O God, open their eyes; turn their hearts to repent and believe the gospel. I pray they would take refuge in You . . .
And I pray for those who are burdened with grief or illness or uncertainty. Lord, give them eyes to see Your righteousness, Your protection, Your favor. Show them Your ways; draw their hearts to Your Word.
Father, I am so thankful that I am Your child!
amen
