He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.
Father,
You are not only the Sovereign of all creation, but You are a personal God. You have named every star; You know every descendant of every person on the earth by name; You know every animal in every cave and den and forest; You know every fish in every sea and river and lake . . .and You sustain every. single. one . . .
No one is invisible to You.
Colossians 1:15-17 ESV – 15 He [Jesus Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities–all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Lord, forgive me for thinking that I don’t matter; that I am invisible. That is unbelief. By faith I know that I have purpose. I praise You and worship You for Your salvation, for Your minute-by-minute gracious care for me . . .
Psalm 25:4-5 ESV – 4 Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. 5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
