Numbers 23:19 ESV – 19 God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
(God speaking to Moses in Midian) Exodus 3:21 ESV – 21 And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and when you go, you shall not go empty, (after the final plague in Egypt) Exodus 12:36 ESV – 36 And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.
Father,
You don’t just promise — You follow through. You don’t change on a whim. You purpose according to Your righteousness and Your steadfast love, and then what You purpose You fulfill.
Immortal, invisible, God only wise, in light inaccessible hid from our eyes. Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise.

Thank you for including the needs of the persecuted church. It has broadened my prayer life.
Thank you Bev. It’s so easy to get my hopes up for irrelevant things. Or even become frustrated with this seemingly perpetual pandemic. I have to remind myself that God is not fickle like me, and He is eternal. His Word is everlasting and final.
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.”

I’m so glad I cannot figure God out…
