Plea for Grace February 10, 2022

Psalm 32:8-11 ESV – 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. 9 Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you. 10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD. 11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

Father, how You care for me!

Psalm 32:1, 5 ESV – 1 Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. … 5 I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.

Father, how You care for me!

Repentance is for my good. Praise is for my good. Obedience is for my good. Father, how You care for me.

Day 4: Pray for leaders in the Eritrean Orthodox

as brothers and sisters rather than as competitors

  1. As I was wrestling with myself, this scripture ministered to the needs of my heart with the Lord’s reproof, challenge and promise. Your meditations continue to bless me. Thank you for sharing your ❤️, Beverly.

  2. Be not like a horse, or a mule without understanding

What I need to understand is that God is always good, and he always wants good for me! I don’t need to understand “why”. . . although I’d really like to know. It’s not necessary to my repentance, praise and obedience.

I want to know what you think!
