Psalm 34:11-14 ESV – 11 Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. 12 What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. 14 Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
This is not “go along to get along”
This is not “be an ostrich and hide your head in the sand”
Lord, You never lie and Your Word is true. Help me to always speak the truth. Psalm 119:29 ESV – 29 Put false ways far from me and graciously teach me your law! Give me discernment to know the truth and to recognize lies. Psalm 119:33-34 ESV – 33 He Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end. 34 Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. Make sin more and more detestable to me, and righteousness more and more desirable. Psalm 119:104 ESV – 104 Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

Why is Nigeria on the 2022 World Watch List?
Christians continue to be attacked indiscriminately
and brutally in northern Nigeria, and Nigeria’s rank
has risen accordingly. The violence has continued
unabated—one of the only places in the world where
COVID-19 travel restrictions and lockdowns had little
impact on attacks against Christians
Day 1: 2021 was dominated by reports of increased
lawlessness in Northern Nigeria. Pray that national and local authorities
would work to find solutions and uphold justice.
