Luke 18:1 ESV – 1 And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
Lord, You know that I am prone to impatience; I think I am the best judge of what I need. My heart is so foolish and deceitful! Thank You for Your mercy and goodness to allow me to cry out to You; for Your timing that allows me to repent and to submit my will to Yours; for Your counsel to show me what is right in Your Word.
Your timing is righteous. Your answers are just and good. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven . . .
