Plea for Grace March 20, 2022

Deuteronomy 6:24-25 ESV – 24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day. 25 And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us.’

God, You created a body of laws for our good. Obedience does not feed Your ego. Help me remember that You will fulfill Your purpose for me Psalm 138:8 ESV – 8 The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.
