O, Lord God,
I want to be devoted to You — devoted to prayer because I am reminded how desperately I need You; devoted to worship because You are the Sovereign and You are worthy; devoted to study of Your Word because I want to know You more and obey You; devoted to fellowship because isolation is not good for me and is not what You have designed for community.
Psalm 32:8-11 ESV – 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. 9 Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you. 10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD. 11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Devotion (to God) seems more than just obedience to me. Like obedience with a deep love and desire to stay connected. Devoted to all aspects of my relationship with God – that is my heart’s cry this morning.
very well said. Devotion is not merely duty. Devotion is heart and actions focused on the Savior who rescued us from sin
