Plea for Grace April 11, 2022

Psalm 101:1-2 ESV - A Psalm of David.
1 I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will make music.
2 I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house;

Lord,

Thank You for Your steadfast love. Your love is sure; Your commandments are sure and right and just. You do not show partiality; You are constant and true and right.

Psalm 119:4-5 ESV – 4 You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. 5 Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! I want to follow Your ways. I want to be as just and right at home as I am outside. Keep me far from hypocrisy, and quick to repent.

Thank You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness.

Pray for the Persecuted Church –OpenDoorsUSA –Syria

In the parts of Syria where Islamic extremists maintain control, Christians remain under significant pressure. Places where Turkey has supplied fighters and military support after its invasion in late 2019 are also dangerous for Christians. Christians who leave Islam to follow Jesus are at risk throughout Syria.

Day 1: Lift up the political and military situation in Syria.
The civil war has continued for more than a decade.

  1. My daily readings have been in Leviticus, and although they point to the inconvertible truth of God’s holiness, your meditations provide a balance in understanding and acknowledging the many facets of His character not the least of which is His steadfast love. You continue to be a blessing. ❤️

  2. Refrain:
    The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.
    Your mercies never come to an end;
    they are new every morning,
    new every morning:
    great is your faithfulness, O Lord,

I want to know what you think!
