Plea for Grace April 25, 2022

Psalm 115:1-4, 11 ESV - 
1 Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! 
2 Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?" 
3 Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. 
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands. ... 
11 You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

Lord,

Anything I look to for my significance other than You is useless. Anything I depend upon for my future other than You is folly. You are the only sovereign God, and I am Your child. You have given Your Word so I can know You. You are glorious.

persecution has remained almost or completely stable,
with church life still the place where Christians face the
most persecution

Day 1: Pray that, despite intense surveillance, faith
will flourish in China and more people will discover
God’s love
