Plea for Grace May 1, 2022

Psalm 121:1-8 ESV -
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
8 The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

Oh Awesome God,

When I just look up and out the window, not even knowing quite how to articulate my prayer because it is all so overwhelming and I am so exhausted . . .

You made all this. You make the sun come up every morning. You make the seasons. You feed the birds outside. You keep the plants and trees alive. All things are Your servants. You don’t ever stop caring for Your creation.

Your care for me is just as intentional and personal. You know my heart better than I know it. You know what I need much better than I do. And if You ask me to walk a very rocky path, You will provide strong shoes . . .(thank you, Corrie ten Boom).

  1. Sometimes all I can say is, “Oh, Lord”, and I am confident he hears my heart. ❤️

I want to know what you think!
