Plea for Grace May 9, 2022

Psalm 129:1-2, 4 ESV -
1 "Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth"-- let Israel now say--
2 "Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me. ...
4 The LORD is righteous; he has cut the cords of the wicked.

God, You are righteous. You are holy. You are unchanging. Your steadfast love endures forever. It’s important to remember that every day, but especially on days that are plagued with grief and affliction, with loneliness and conflict. None of us is immune from trial, but You are Sovereign, and You have promised to never leave. You have promised an eternal home with You.

Pray for the Persecuted Church — OpenDoorsUSA

The level of persecution stayed largely the same in
Vietnam during the 2022 World Watch List reporting
period. The COVID-19 pandemic continued to affect all
residents of the country, and some Christians in rural
areas reported discrimination in government pandemic
assistance. Ethnic minority Christians still face violence
and social consequences when they convert to
Christianity, and the Vietnamese church remains under
pressure throughout the country

Day 1: Pray for Christians in Vietnam who suffer
persecution, especially those from ethnic minorities.

  1. “Yet, they have not prevailed against me”
I can always count on God to have my back. The wicked will not prevail, afflictions, grief, trials, loneliness and conflict WILL NOT PREVAIL. . . Because. . . God
Thank you Lord for being over all and in all

I want to know what you think!
