Proverbs 10:19-20 ESV - 
19 When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent. 
20 The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the heart of the wicked is of little worth.

Lord, help me to know when to keep my mouth shut as well as when to speak. Not every thought and opinion of mine needs to be spoken. It’s not necessary that I speak my opinion about every thing . . .
