Proverbs 14:13 ESV - 13 Even in laughter the heart may ache, and the end of joy may be grief.
Lord, just as I may put on a good face in public, so those around me are carrying their own burdens that they do not share. Help them to share them with You because You tell us to cast our burdens on You . . .You command us to give thanks and to praise You. That doesn’t mean we cannot grieve losses or process disappointment. It means that we even take our emotions to You. You care about our every need.
