Plea for Grace June 18, 2022

Proverbs 18:1-2 ESV -
1 Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.
2 A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.

Father, Thank You for faithful friends, who will be honest and love me well. Help me to remember Your words through the apostle James, “…let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of men does not produce the righteousness of God . . .”(James 1:19, 20)

Day 6: Conversion to Christianity from Islam is illegal,
and carries with it a sentence of death (though no
one has actually been executed for this). Pray for any

  1. It’s interesting that the proverbs put the one who isolates himself together with the fool. As believers who desire to grow more like Christ each day, we need each other.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
We grow stronger when we surround ourselves with others who are strong.
