Plea for Grace June 23, 2022

Proverbs 23:17 ESV -
17 Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the LORD all the day.
Hebrews 13:5-6 ESV -
5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
6 So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"

Lord, You promise to be with me always. You are my King and my God, I trust You to teach me, to counsel me, to show me how to follow Your ways. You are the righteous judge; it is not mine to mete out judgment to others.

  1. Be content with what you have. . . Easier said than done some days. And it’s usually just piddly stuff anyway. Lord help me to focus on all that you have given me, not on what you have given others.

I want to know what you think!
