Plea for Grace September 11, 2022

James 1:16-18 ESV - 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Ephesians 1:3 ESV - 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. . .

2 Peter 1:3-4 ESV - 3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

Psalm 23:1 ESV -
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

O Lord, forgive me when I believe the lie that You are not enough; that what You give me is not enough. Your gifts are from Your consistent and holy nature. You give me what is best for me. You equip me to do the works for which you have created me. Help me to trust Your goodness and be content.
